Independent Digital Media Consultant
Carolyn is a skilled project leader and manager with over 15 years experience working in digital media in the cultural and education sectors, in the UK and internationally. She is currently working as an independent consultant interested in the digital transformation that cultural organisations need to undertake in order to operate as digital-first organisations. In her work, she is looking at the impact of digital on organisational structures and culture including the emergence of digital leadership; how to better support new collaborations and new ways of working; new skills required to build staff confidence in digital; and introducing new project management disciplines that build digital capacity and are better suited for digital delivery of projects.
Carolyn is a board member for Museum Computer Network (MCN), on the programme committee for Museums and the Web (MoW) and a Mentor at the CultureHive Digital Marketing Academy (DMA).
